TrendoPlay — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using TrendoPlay ("the Service"), a Discord Activity application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrendoPlay is a collaborative music player that runs inside Discord voice channels. It allows users to search YouTube, build shared queues, and listen together in real time.

3. User Responsibilities

You must have a valid Discord account and be in a voice channel to use the Service.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Discord account while using the Service.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

4. Music Content

The Service streams audio and video from YouTube. All music content is owned by respective copyright holders. The Service does not host, store, or distribute any music files. Streaming is performed in real time for personal, non-commercial listening within Discord voice channels.

5. Data Collection

Discord User ID and Username: Used to identify you as the DJ or a queue contributor. Not stored permanently — cleared when the voice channel session ends.
Channel ID: Used to keep each voice channel's queue and playback state separate. Not linked to any personal identity.
YouTube Search Queries: Processed in real time via yt-dlp. Not logged or stored.

No personal data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

6. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrendoPlay and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
